Full Day Camps for Campers ages 6–10

This week-long Camp offers an opportunity to create and play alongside your peers. Campers will experience the wonderful world of creative arts through different visual art mediums. Campers will choose an instrument to learn and play.

The camps will include all genres. Learn how music brings us all together while discovering new instruments, and playing with your peers. Students should be able to play at least one instrument or be able to sing.

This is a great camp to try out new forms of music, new instruments, and bond with fellow music lovers. At the end of each camp week, the campers will sow off their arts and perform live!

Drawing/Painting/Mixed Media

Full Day Camps for Campers ages 6 –10

Alongside the music this is also a week of creativity and foundation building as we engage in fun projects while learning new methods and techniques of drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and painting.

Campers will gain skills of perspective, proportion and composition while working with color, light, shape and texture. Try our new methods, new mediums and express yourself creatively this summer.

All projects are appropriate for any skill level, and the teacher works alongside each student. By the end of the week each camper will create a portfolio of works that will be displayed in an exhibit on the last day of camp.

Location

All camps are held at The Farnoosh Music Academy, located at Unit 213- 2 Orchard Heights Blvd. Aurora. Weather permitting, outdoor activities will be held at Machell Park. All camp groups will walk to and from the park together for maximum safety and supervision. We will cross the street at Orchard Heights Blvd. and Yonge Street intersection.

Early Morning & Aftercare Hours

Early morning care is offered from 7am – 9:00am
Aftercare is available from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
Aftercare includes modified camp activities.
Cost: $30 per day or $100 per week

Staff

Your child’s camp sessions are led by counselors chosen for their expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm for working with children. Farnoosh Music Academy utilizes a comfortable ratio of 1:6 counselors to children. These small group sizes ensure your child experiences an in-depth learning experience with personal attention.

Snack & Lunch

Students must bring their own snacks, bottles of water, and lunch daily in an insulated container.

Camp Performance & Art Show

On the last day of each camp, Students will perform their instruments and can show off their creations to family and friends. Details provided at camp.

Limited Space

Camps have limited space. Campers are registered on a first-come-first-served basis. Farnoosh Music Academy maintains a waiting list for full camps.

The registering adult will receive a confirmation email of their spot in camp a week prior to the beginning of camp.

Camp Refund and Credit Policy

  • To cancel the registration, you must notify The Farnoosh Music Academy before May 15. A 75% refund, less an administration fee of $15.00 will be offered.

  • Cancellation less than one month (30 days) but at least two weeks (14 days) before the start of that specific camp week, is eligible for a 50% refund, less an administration fee of $15.00.

  • Cancellation less than two weeks (14 days) before the start of that specific camp week, results in a 50% credit.

  • Once a program begins, adjustments and credits are not available
