Houman Javid, born on the 26th of October 1973, is an architect and versatile musician with a career spanning over three decades. Since 1987, he has excelled as a singer and a guitarist. Houman began his musical journey studying solfege and classical guitar under Mrs. Alina Gharbi and Mr. Behdad Moghaddasi. He later delved into traditional Kurdish vocals with Mrs. Nadjmeh Tajaddod (Kaamkaar).

In 1999, Houman released his first solo album, "Sayeh-e Khod" (Own Shadow), in Iran, featuring music and guitars by Babak Amini. This marked his deep affinity for Classic-Pop artists, although his true passion lies in rock music. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists and composers in the various genres, producing six albums and twenty single tracks, all accessible on the itunes and Spotify.

Houman has performed on stage in over 30 live concerts in Tehran and four in Toronto from 2001 to 2019. His distinctive voice has also enriched the original soundtracks of several Iranian movies and TV series, composed by Majid Entezami , Bahram Dehghanyar and Ramin Behna.

In addition to leading his own band, Houman has collaborated with renowned groups such as "Raz-e Shab," "Rumi," "Darkoob," and "Babak Amini & Houman Javid."

Houman continues to pursue his musical projects while taking pleasure in coaching aspiring vocalists and producing music for them.

He has served as the vocal coach for Bahram Radan and Sohrab Pakzad, renowned Persian artists, guiding them through their initial music recordings with expert care and support.
